I purchased a RediShade, which is just a paper fan for all practical purposes, for a small window in an upstairs bedroom and immediately noticed the difference in temperature as the room faces West and was extremely hot during the afternoon hours. It was easy to cut to size using a box cutter, and easy to install with the adhesive backing already on the product.

I purchased this larger version for a dining room window (which also faces West) and again was relieved with the ease of installation and the immediate solution to a long-standing dilemma. It's not fancy or elegant in any way but very functional and the cost was perfect for my budget.

It works, not difficult to install at all. you actually not need to glue the bottom to the window frame

This has made a big difference in our daughter's room and was very easy to install. My husband had it up in five or ten minutes.

This shade has been a lifesaver this summer. It cuts back on the direct sunlight in the morning, keeping the house cooler. The only thing is the measurements on it were a littl bit off. I wouldn't have needed to cut it at all.
